Description

This beautifully illustrated children's book takes a close look at the lifecycle of water, including how it supports all life forms, how humans harness its power, and why we need to conserve it.

Table of contents lends to the ease of browsing; great layout of text, photos incorporated into the engaging illustrations. Loved this little illustrated book about fungi which explores (delves into) the magical world (enchanting realm) of the forest floors and the most common organism found in them, fungi. Following on from the gorgeous ‘Under Your Feet’, and touching on similar topics of conservation and the secret processes within ecosystems, this book of fabulous fungi will intrigue and amaze young readers.Fungal stories include the greening of the Earth, when fungi helped plants first grow on land, and the mass destruction of crops through fungal disease. That’s why we create books for everyone that explore ideas and nurture curiosity about the world we live in. And of course our food, medicine, actually every corner of our world you can think of — they’re there. The Super Happy Magic Forest is the friendliest, most frolic-filled place in all the world, but very occasionally some evil-doer likes to come along and disturb the peace. The vast fungus kingdom has an estimated four million species — ten times more than plants and 600 times more than mammals.

They would also only drop off a case of books and leave us to run it – it was so lovely to have you on hand to chat to the children and recommend them books, as well as the small (but appreciated! Please include what you were doing when this page came up and the Cloudflare Ray ID found at the bottom of this page. There’re also the “bad guys”, or rather they face the same survival battle for the fittest in nature with the most creative weapons. Every hundred years the Super Happy Magic Forest celebrates its origin, when the Rainbow Dragon shot fire and life upon barren land to create a place of wonder, beatify and happiness.

They carpet the forest floor, and different types of fungi decompose matter, feed plants, and even change animals’ behaviour. This particular title is especially noteworthy because mushrooms, fungi, and molds of various kinds are just that- widely varied, and yet ubiquitous.

Continuing from the gorgeous Under Your Feet, and touching on similar topics of conservation and the secret processes within ecosystems, this book of fabulous fungi will intrigue and amaze young readers.Rather like Peanut Butter and Jelly and other books in that series, this offers fun, originality, diversion and satisfaction. However (Nonetheless), we cannot overlook (underestimate) the indispensable role they play in our ecosystem. It is a great book for children who are interested in learning about fungi, or even using it as part of a lesson in the classroom. Yourself and Bob are much cherished in our booky world and I personally really appreciate everything that you do. A Super Happy Magic Forest chapter book packed with illustrations and plenty of humour-this is the perfect read for fans of Dog Man and Captain Underpants (6+).
